ABOUT ME

I was born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina. I grew up playing soccer, which has shaped me into a very active person who loves working in a team setting. I enjoy long-distance running, yoga, reading, and learning about new skincare techniques/products in my free time.
My STEM classes always piqued my interest and creativity throughout high school, which led me to choose Health Science as my major at Clemson University. I graduated from Clemson University in December of 2022 with my Bachelor of Science. Throughout the courses I have taken, I have become immensely passionate about community and preventative healthcare. This passion began after I became aware of health inequities and the widespread benefits of public health. After I graduate, I plan to further explore the health sciences by attending medical school.
INTERESTS

I am a skincare fanatic and often spend my free time reading articles about new products and techniques, watching videos, and staying up to date with Dermatologists' current favorites. Through my research, I have found that one of my favorite forms of daily self-care is my skincare routine. My routine helps me alleviate stress and anxiety, and I plan to continue implementing it into my life.

I enjoy staying active in my free time to ensure that my mind and body are as healthy as possible. My favorite athletic activity is long-distance running. I completed my first Marathon in Disney World January 9, 2022! In addition to running, I enjoy taking HIIT, cycling, and F45 classes through Clemson Recreation.

Through my sorority, Alpha Delta Pi, I have had the opportunity to serve the Ronald McDonald House Charities. I have cooked meals and fundraised to support the Greenville house. This service has opened my eyes to families' difficulties obtaining housing and meals while traveling to receive care for their child. I believe my awareness of patients' familial burdens will allow me to be the most empathetic, conscious doctor in the future.
