I obtained my CPR and AED Certification during my time as a Tier 3 MedEx Academy intern. I have this certification because it will enable me to provide life saving care to individuals outside of a healthcare facility that are in cardiac arrest. Additionally, my Health Literacy Certification is important because it enables me to identify patients in the future who struggle with literacy. I also learned techniques to ensure that all of my future patients are able to get the best possible care no matter their health literacy level.
